We serve the residents of Crystal Lake, IL, and members of participating churches by offering short-term financial assistance. To receive help, individuals must call to make an appointment, visit our office, complete an application, and specify their needs. Our volunteers then review the application and gather the necessary documents. If the request is legitimate, a decision regarding the amount of assistance is usually made on the same day. 

Most of our funds are used to cover overdue rent and utility bills. We also provide support for other essential needs, such as medical supplies, car insurance, or gasoline when needed for doctor’s visits or job searches. 

The aid we distribute depends on the donations we receive at any given time. Impressively, 98% of donations directly benefit those in need.
